It is my hope...

I’ve been writing this blog for almost 5 years now, and I’ve often wondered if there’s anybody out there actually reading this thing. I’ve written it for a number of reasons, the foremost being that I love my country and hope that somewhere out there there’s someone who loves it as much as I do. Being an American is not only just a birthright there is a responsibility that comes with this citizenship. It also means that you have to take part in the political process, and sometimes in the military process. America is not a warmongering nation however it is a nation that will stand for what is right. And also a nation full of people who are willing to give their lives for freedom whether it be in America or in some other nation.
This past March I turned 61 years of age, my health is beginning to fail and I am no longer able to get out there like a young man and fight for what I believe to be right and true. As I look around me I see the world that is full of nothing but strife there is no peace, there are no people who can live their daily lives without fear of having someone come into their homes and kill them or take what they’ve worked for all in the name of God and a religious belief that nobody truly understands yet claims it is religion of peace, and it isn’t really. Every day we hear of the atrocities that are committed in the name of the God that we do not know or believe in. From my perspective, religion and politics are separate, or should be. My own personal belief is who cares what God you worship as long as you are willing to worship that God peacefully without harming others, more people died in the name of God in history than can be counted and yet I asked myself the question what would’ve happened if these people had lived. Here it is 2013 years since the birth of Christ, and during that 2000 years it is been a continual struggle between mankind to determine which version of God is the true version of God. Frankly I believe that God is in every man. We talk of religious dogma without giving a thought to what others think or believe. All religions talk of being a religion of peace and yet throughout history all religions have shown a number of believable capabilities for war. According to the Arabs, Allah spoke to the prophet Mohammed and gave him specific instructions on how to spread the faith to the world.
As a result of this, we have 1300 years of history of nothing but bloodshed and murder. The destruction of the great Library of Alexandria, the destruction of churches, people’s homes, and a history of human abuse that far surpasses anything that we could’ve accomplished during modern-days even with the atomic bomb.
There was a time in my life when I believed in a one world government. I was full of the romanticism of Star Trek and hoped  mankind could be better than what it was. I have since learned that because of custom, location, and religious belief, that this is an impossibility that we as a people will never achieve. Yet this does not negate the possibility that all men can come together and on principle agreed that God is within every man. It also does not negate the possibility that there can be for peace within this world through the use of exploration both within this world and it seas and without the world in space.
I cannot and will not in good conscience, rant and rave any longer about the violations of our Constitution by Pres. Barack Obama simply because under the current political situation there is no point. I will say that he is a scumbag, he is America’s first dictator, and we are responsible for putting him into office, and therefore we are the ones must pay the price.
A Republic has ever lasted longer than 250 years. It would seem that now is our time, that our Republic is about to end. My question is what follows? Will we separate states and become small countries like Europe. How will we survive? Will our economy collapse so completely that we have no money to buy food or clothing? Will we revert to an animalistic society taking from one another those things that we need or desire? Are we ready to survive, do we deserve to survive?
During the past 250 years, America has stood for freedom, we also stood for freedom of others, to the point where we are willing to send our young men and women overseas to fight battles for that freedom and the freedom of others. It now becomes necessary for us to start to fight for freedom within our own country, I believe that unless we clean our own house, we have no right nor the ability to fight the battles of others. We are not the United Nations police force, we can no longer afford to fight the United Nations battles for it. We must now begin looking forward, taking care of our own people, our elderly, our sick and infirm. We must find ways to create a new energy base, housing for the homeless. We must begin to work on rebuilding our manufacturing capabilities, our economy, and our ability to meet the world on equal terms.
As a country, we have the responsibility to not only the citizens of this nation, but also to the citizens of the world. We must clean our house first before we can clean others houses.
It is my hope and dream, that somewhere within this world, there is one person who can stand up and convince the rest of the world that peace is the only way to go. I’m not speaking of the antichrist, but I am merely speaking of an individual so strong of spirit that he is able to convince the rest of the world that oppression, dictatorship, and arbitrary government is wrong. People must be allowed their freedom, it is essential in the total scheme of things to merely enforce a basic set of laws, and allow the people to live their lives in a peaceful manner without government interference.
Yes, and if you believe that I have a bridge in Brooklyn that I’m willing to sell you. But it’s a good idea anyway.

Hmmm . . . Reichstag . . . Congress?

Some one once told me; if a few good men see something going wrong and do nothing then they are just a guilty as those who did the wrong . . . or words to that effect. I’m just paraphrasing of course but you get the idea.

One of the many problems that I and many others have, is informational overload. We see and hear so much going on in our country and government that it is difficult at times to see the forest through the trees. Well, I’m beginning to see the forest. At least I believe I am.

I am now writing this not as a would be politician or a Republican or Democrat, I am writing this as an American. What I have to say concerns ALL of us as Americans regardless of political affiliations, politics, or religious background. No matter our races, color or creed.

Over the past three and a half years we have watched the quick and steady progress of the destabilization of America. We have watched as the Justice Department has refused to prosecute laws that bind the very fabric of our nation together. We have also watched as that very same Justice Department has taken part in covert and blatantly illegal operations. At the same time we have watched helplessly as a liberal Congress has passed laws which are a blatant violation of the Constitution of the United States and our Bill of Rights. We have also watched as our President has essentially taken it upon himself to rule our nation by Executive Order, circumventing the Constitution, Congress, and the American People.

In the past three months we have watched as our economy has steadily gone down hill to the point where at any minute the President will declare a “Bank Holiday” and our retirement funds, IRA’s, and savings accounts are raided “for the good of the Nation”. I encourage you to enjoy this Christmas, because I truly believe that this will be the last time you will be able to afford it or be allowed as Americans and as Christians to celebrate it.

The final straw on the American Peoples back was the passage of Senate Bill S. 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act. While on the surface this bill is nothing more than a budget and military upgrade bill, Subtitle E; Other Matters, Sec. 345 states the following.

(Sec. 345) Requires: (1) the Secretary to develop guidance for commanders of military installations inside the United States on planning to minimize the effects of disruption of services by a utility that sells natural gas, water, or electricity to such installation; (2) such commanders to develop appropriate action plans to minimize such effects; and (3) the CG to review actions taken and report to Congress on the guidance developed.

Why? Are they afraid that they will do something that will anger the American People so much that they will disrupt utilities and services to military installations in the United States?

Subtitle C: Intelligence Matters says this; (Sec. 923) Requires the Director of the Defense Information Systems Agency to implement a mechanism to publish and maintain on the public Internet specified information on and resources for the Ozone Widget Framework in order to permit individuals and companies to develop, integrate, and test analysis tools and applications for use by DOD and elements of the intelligence community. Requires such Director to encourage and foster the use of such Framework by the computer industry and commercial information technology vendors.

Bear in mind also that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has without authorization of Congress scrapped the “Fairness Doctrine” which in effect allows Major Service Providers such as AT&T, QWEST, and BELL to selectively allow access to certain websites, blogs, and politically oriented News sites. In light of what has been going on I have a feeling that if the government directs them in the interest of National Security, that’s exactly what, will happen.

Finally, while I personally have not been able to find the text on the internet as written into the bill, I have found that it was entitled Sec. 1031 and was written about by Representative Justin Amash (R) of the third District for Michigan. The story can be referenced at this link http://www.campaignforliberty.org/profile/7786/blog/2011/11/28/amend-s-1867-prevent-indefinite-detention-americans . You can also refer to Representative Amash’s face book site at http://www.facebook.com/repjustinamash under Comments by Rand Paul. Section 1031 calls for the unlimited detention of American citizens by the military whether they are arrested on foreign soil or in the United States by the military.

While some of you may consider me to be a nut and a screwball, I encourage you to check these links. Whether you wish to believe it or not we are not that far away from loosing America. History repeats itself and I am seeing that happen here in American, and I am seeing it now.

Let me remind you that it took three and a half years for Hitler to take control of Germany. That control came with the burning of the Reichstag, the Parliamentary seat of Germany on February 27th, 1933. Hitler had convince an 86 year old President Hindenburg that there was a Communist plot to take over Germany and to sign an emergency decree suspending all rights of Germany’s citizens and granting Hitler dictatorial rule over Germany. You can reference it here http://worldatwar.net/event/reichstagsbrand .

So!! Is the American Tea Party Movement plotting to take over America? This is at the very least something you might want to consider. If nothing else you might want to think about what may be coming and what the future holds. Remember, we have an election coming up soon also. Frankly the future does not look bright at all. That is of course unless you get out and vote, if we can.

COMMITMENT

Last night I had the occasion to attend a meeting of a group calling themselves “The New Republic”. I sat and listened to their presentation and as I did so I was forced to think about a lot of things. Most importantly why I am running for office and what good would it do. In point of fact everything they presented was correct in the context they presented it and it was disheartening and somewhat frightening.

You see I was faced with the question; “If I run for office and by some strange quirk of fate I was to succeed, what could I accomplish for my state and for my country?”

To some this question may be easily answered, but as I sat there it truly bothered me that everything I had thought and hoped I could do suddenly seemed pointless. When the presentation ended I went down stairs from the meeting hall and stood by the door and began to talk to a few of those who were in attendance and what I learned was even more frightening. It seems that this organization is well formed and extends over the entire United States. And it also seems that they have a plan that they are in the process of initiating to take control of the government. At least that’s what was indicated to me when the statement was made “We have groups in every state ready to step in and do the job.”

As I stood there listening to this I had a vision flash before my eyes of an America in absolute and total chaos at a time when America needed it’s people to stand together as one, and the idea sent a chill up my spine. So much so that I went home and spent most of the night thinking about it all, and yes, even praying.

Despite the fact some think that I am not the best candidate to run against Jeff Bingaman in New Mexico, I have a desire to attempt to make things better. Even if it means just being a part of the process and making people think about what they are saying and doing, and what they are willing to commit themselves to for their state and country.

The one thing that I have discovered over the years and have confirmed is that politicians lie. They will tell you what they think you want to hear from them at that particular moment in order to get you on their side and hopefully vote for them. They hide their true agendas and even their personal faults in order to convince you, the voter, that they are the perfect choice and that they can do the job for you and represents your needs. Once they get into office they totally ignore you, the promises they made, and what they are supposed to and go off and begin to work on their our agendas leaving you high and dry.

Which of course brings us back to me. I’m not perfect, and some may say I am a little crazy. Which if you think about it, I may well be since I am attempting to run against a 5 time incumbent and haven’t got a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. And for the record, I am not a lawyer, I’m not rich, and I have the tact of a nuclear weapon. I’ll stand toe to toe with you and argue for what I believe to be the right course, and tell you what I think in pretty plain English.

On a more personal note, I’m just a guy who wakes up in the morning wondering what the heck I’m doing and how the heck did I survive to this point in my life? I’m full of the warts of life and the mistakes that one makes. Like most people in this day and age I have debts, responsibilities, and suffer from all of the pressures that everyday people experience and then some. And yes, I’ve made a ton of mistakes in my day and I accept the responsibility for all of them so when my opponent tries to stand there and show the public what a looser or a geek I am, I can sit there and smile sweetly and tell him or her; “Yeah, I did, but before you judge me to harshly here are the facts of what happened and what took place.

Now you ask; “What’s this got to do with what you were talking about?” It has a lot to do with it. After agonizing over the questions I was forced to ask myself, I reached the following conclusions.

Despite my failings which are many, I love my Country the United States of America. In my life time I have had the opportunity to travel to places here in our country that not very many people have. I met the people, and I have discovered just how unique and diverse they can be. I have also seen the bottom side of life and had to get out there and struggle to live just day to day. Yet at the same time I have seen just how beautiful this country truly is. I have traveled all over the world and can honestly say that there is no other place on this planet like America.

I have seen my state and its people and can tell you that New Mexico is unique for a lot of reasons, its long and colorful history, its people, and their ability to think outside of the box, but most importantly the feeling that lays within each of them that they experience and have a right to experience a freedom that no one else can or will experience. And their lack of fear.

It is because of these things that I cannot and will not accept that America can only be fixed by groups willing to attempt to take control of it and force the people and the nation to accept what they perceive to be the only solution to the problem. I will stand with our forefathers and fight to see to it that their efforts and hard work to found this nation was not in vain.

I stand committed to my Nation, my state, and its people and the belief that somehow I can and will make a positive difference that will bring about positive change in the lives of the people and our country. Even if it is just to fight the good fight. And while I may be forced to take on the mantel of politician, I will always be who I am with all of the mistakes, warts, and blemishes of life.

While there may ultimately be better candidates out there for the United States Senate, if nothing else I will make them prove it, and prove that they will represent the people and fight for what is right and good in America without reservation and without fear.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!! AND GOD HAVE MERCY ON THOSE WHO WOULD DESTROY HER!!
