I find it astounding that one individual can actually be so conflicted within him self and actually live as a human-being.
As many of you may already know, Michael Moore, famous for producing movies that essentially show our country in a bad light is once again rearing his ugly head. This time it is in Wisconsin.
It seems that Mr. Moore has decided to take on the cause of the unions and to stand with them in their fight against Governor Walker, who is fighting the House Democrats and the local government workers union in his efforts to being some sort of fiscal responsibility to the state.
Moore has a habit of showing the people that his intelligence level is on a par with a rotting onion. His films such as Roger and me, Fahrenheit 9/11, and Sicko have done nothing more that illustrate this man’s hatred for the American way of life, its people, and what make us great as a nation. Yet at the same time, while he rails against the American dream, he pursues it with a vigor that astounds even the greediest of individuals. In short, he profits from the very things that he rails against.
Recently he made an appearance on “Grit” Television and explained “that America wasn’t going broke and running out of money”. According to him “the money is finite and America has enough, It’s just that the rich have it all and are not letting any of it go so that it is redistributed to the rest of us”.
If this is the case, I would like to invite Mr. Moore to set the example for the rich and give away the millions of dollars that you’ve made from your cockamamie movies that do nothing but put America down.
Let’s talk about the 20 million dollars you made from Fahrenheit 9/11 or the lawsuit that you’ve filed against the producers for an additional 2.5 million dollars, claiming that they defrauded you. You know that for a liberal guy who claims that there is something fundamentally wrong with America, you sure seem to benefit a lot from what you claim is wrong with her.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, it would appear that Mr. Moore suffers from the same sense of entitlement that many rich who have worked hard to get where they are suffer from.
He eats at the finest restaurants, can afford expensive clothing (when he’s not putting on a show for the people), drives an expensive car, and hates it when he is not recognized by his adoring fans who are as kooky as he is.
His lawsuit against the producers of Fahrenheit 9/11 has already shown that he’s as greedy as the next guy. His movies show an America that is sick and broken, yet he chooses to live here over any other country, simply because he knows that if he didn’t he wouldn’t be able to keep the massive amounts of money that he’s made from his movies due to socialized governments demanding that he turn it over to them to support the masses.
Frankly Mr. Moore, I think it’s time that you took a step back and re-examined yourself and your priorities. It has been the American Dream that you have railed so much against in your films, books, and asinine statements that has made it possible for you to make the money you have.
It’s also that one little right in the Bill of Rights and the Constitution of the United States of America that has allowed you to make the trash that you have profited from. It’s called the Freedom of Speech!
You might want to remember that the next time you open your mouth, but hey better yet give all your money to the poor and redistribute the cash that you’ve gathered and taken out of circulation like the rest of the rich folks have. I dare you!
