RAMBLINGS

Ramblings

I haven’t really thought of the title for this blog, simply because this is the first time that I have dictated it rather than type it. It’s not that I Type, it’s just that these days it’s easier to try and use a dictation program because age has made my hands shake and it is difficult not to hit the keys more than 15 or 20 times.

Actually, this isn’t really a bad way of doing it simply because it gives me an opportunity to think more clearly about what I want to say. While thinking about everything, I suddenly realized that for the past several years I have been flogging a dead horse. I have ranted and raved over all of the ills that have befallen America, and have not given any real thought as to why America is in the position that it is at this point. Interestingly, as I look back on everything it suddenly occurs to me that all of the problems that America is currently facing are in fact do to the very people myself included, that I have been trying to reach. That’s right we are to blame for everything that’s been going on. Instead of getting out and making sure that our freedoms are insured and that our Constitution of the United States is upheld, we have done nothing more than sit back and enjoy the freedoms that the Constitution has guaranteed us without ensuring that the Constitution remains an active and enforced document of our government.

In the end, if you think about it we have allowed our politicians to take control of our lives. They have done nothing but pass laws which have no real effect or purpose other than to destroy the Constitution of the United States and to ensure that they benefit by holding the office that we have so stupidly elected them too. Somewhere along the line we as a people and as a nation have forgotten that freedom is not free and that the price for that freedom is our active participation in the government. We as a people must on a day-to-day basis take an active role in the running of our country.

We cannot elect person just because of the color of their skin we have to look at them and their ability to do the job, unfortunately for the past eight years we have been victims of our own stupidity, not realizing that the individual that we elected as president of our nation in fact it’s our nation and is stated such publicly on numerous occasions. At the same time we as a people both Republican and Democrat must look at the common sense of the thing. That is to say are the laws that are being passed by our representatives in the Congress and the Senate based on good sound judgment, or are they laws representative of the districts that they represent. One of things that we have to remember is that not all laws passed at a national level can be applicable to all of our citizens in different regions of our country.

Most times for the general public it’s difficult to wade through the political rhetoric to make a determination as to whether or not the individuals that we elect to public office are good men and women, or just plain dumb as a brick. I have to admit that over the past 10 or so years it seems that most of the people we have elected to public office give a whole new meaning to the word stupid.
What I find difficult to understand is the ability of our president to totally ignore the fact that our borders are as porous as a sponge, allowing not only illegal Mexicans and South Americans and to our country but also terrorist who have sworn that they will destroy America no matter what it takes. What I find even more incredible is the fact that this individual refuses to acknowledge or use the term extreme Islamic terrorists. What is the think these guys are, Sunday tourist?

Let’s go back in history and take a look at what happened on 9/11 with the fall of the twin towers in New York City. Over 2000 American citizens and foreign citizens were killed with the destruction of the twin towers. And they were killed by Islamic terrorist. I think it’s time that this president gets his head out of his ass and starts to look at things as they really are.

Do I hate this president? You bet I do. Not because he’s black, not because he’s a Democrat, but because he is done everything that he possibly can to destroy the greatness of this nation, and the Constitution of the United States. Many years ago I stated that he reminded me of an African dictator, now it seems that my comparison is truer than most people would believe since he has decided that the Constitution is an inconvenience and that Congress should not exist and is now ruling this nation by Executive Order.

Please people, please, it’s time to start thinking about this country, it’s time to start thinking about our Constitution, it’s time to start thinking about the freedoms that we are losing on a day-to-day basis because of this individual and his ultra-liberal agenda. It’s time for us as American citizens either Republican or Democrat to stand up on our own 2 feet and take back our government. We can no longer afford to let these yobs to take control of our government and take control of our lives. Our forefathers spent 11 years working on the Constitution of the United States to ensure our freedoms and to ensure our ability to maintain that freedom. I speak of course of the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms.

It’s time to get up off our butts people, we are losing our freedoms daily and we are doing nothing about it.

In the words of that great journalist Edward R. Murrow; “good night and good luck”.

But do not expect me to be nice when you are stupid. If I am stupid tell me and I'll check it out and correct it.
